The Professional Development Sub Committee was formed in February 2008 following work carried out by members of the Joint Central Committee. This related to concerns regarding staff training and development. The aims of the sub committee are set out below.
AIM OF SUB COMMITTEE
1. To identify and consider the most topical areas of concern with regards training and development matters which will effect members and the Force in general; and
2. Then to prioritise and action the items raised with a view of meeting the expectations to improve these matters.
