The apartment

Accommodation comprises of an open plan kitchen-lounge, 2 bedrooms (one en-suite), and main bathroom. There is a large terrace area which is accessed from the lounge and bedroom 1, benefiting from panoramic views across the mountains, complex and sea. Additionally there is a balcony terrace accessible from bedroom 2 and also a roof terrace with sun beds provided.

The living area is modern, stylish and comfortable, benefiting from air conditioning/heating units, satellite television and DVD/CD player.

The bedrooms consist of one double bed, twin beds and also a travel cot. These also each have an air conditioning/heating unit within. They are modern, well-fitted and enhanced by French/patio doors leading to a balcony or terrace. The main bathroom has both a shower and bath.

The kitchen area is fitted to a very high standard and includes a large fridge freezer, oven with extractor, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and toaster. Dining can be enjoyed either indoors in the living area or alfresco on the terrace.

Hillview Gardens – The Complex

Hillview Gardens is a development situated between the picturesque fishing villages of Yalikavak and Gumusluk. There are free leisure facilities to suit all ages and the site also includes a supermarket, restaurant, management centre and 24 hour security. Regular service buses are provided at minimal cost to Yalikavak. The complex is beautifully landscaped and has superb views of mountains, Yalikavak and even the Greek island of Kos.

Things to do and see

Yalikavak offers an authentic Turkish experience, spectacular scenery, the charm of a local village and a laid back atmosphere. Home to fishermen and sponge divers, and a haven for yachts, the small marina is lined with traditional Turkish restaurants frequented by Turkey’s rich and famous. There is a beach with beautifully clear waters and a weekly market visited by locals and tourists alike. For those who like designer shops and chic restaurants, there is a stunning multi-million pound marina lined with fabulous yachts from around the world.

Gumusluk – the sleepy fishing village of Gumusluk is the site of the ancient sunken city of Myndos making it ideal for snorkelling. It is famous for the sensational fish and seafood restaurants gracing its tiny harbour. Local artists display their crafts nearby and it truly is a place to relax and unwind. Experience the walk across the submerged city to Rabbit Island (as above) and enjoy the truly amazing views.

Bodrum – is a lively, bustling town with hundreds, if not thousands, of shops ranging from market stalls offering fake ‘designer’ goods, leather shops, gold and silver merchants to High street and designer stores (e.g. Marks and Spencer, Lacoste, Benetton, etc). There are café’s and restaurants suiting all tastes and budgets, from authentic Turkish eateries overlooking the beautiful harbour packed with hundreds of yachts, to the usual international fast food places. Historical sights include the Crusader Castle of St Peter, Myndos Gate, the mausoleum and the amphitheatre.

Gumbet – a very lively resort suitable for the young (or young at heart!!). Popular for those who enjoy the beach and plenty of water sports during the day, followed by a pub crawl at night.

There are countless trips organised by various companies who charge reasonable rates and will transfer you to and from the apartment. These include the ancient city of Ephessus , visits to Kos or Rhodes, scuba diving, horse riding and rafting, to name but a few. Many other attractions can also be arranged independently as they are close by to Hillside Gardens, accessible by bus or taxi. These include the Aquapark, boat trips, Hamam (Turkish bath) and local towns, many of which have weekly markets and things to see.

Villa Kariba is a 10 minute walk from Dalyan, a small piece of paradise on the Turquoise Coast in Southern Turkey. There is so much to see and do in the local area — visit the famous mud baths and sulphur springs, take a boat to the environmentally protected Iztuzu Beach, walk to the ancient ruins at Caunos, take a jeep safari, have a Turkish bath or just relax and enjoy genuine, friendly Turkish hospitality.

Federation House is a new state-of the art complex, comprising the headquarters of the Police Federation of England and Wales with a training and conference centre and high-standard hotel accommodation, complete with restaurant, bar and leisure facilities.

The Abbey Coach House is situated in the picturesque village of Staveley, nr Windermere and is tucked away down a quiet side road off the beaten track (although just 15 minutes from J36, M6).
