Help Leiceistershire Police Officer Diagnosed with Brain Tumours

£1 to Help Leiceistershire Police Officer Diagnosed with Brain Tumours

We all know what its like, receiving what feels like constant requests for charity donations, so I thought I’d get the amount in on the first line………

Please, please read on to find out what your £1 could do……..

David Robinson is a 28yr old trainee police officer with Leicestershire Constabulary, since the age of 17 he has suffered with brain tumours, In January this year he found out his last lot of chemotherapy had failed. The only chance left to David is for him to get accepted onto a trial at Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumour Centre Duke Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, USA.

This offers biological gene treatment for Recurrent Medulloblastoma. This could offer David the chance to prolong or improve his quality of life. David’s daughter is due to be born in May 2010 and we are trying to raise the money needed to send him to the USA, to allow him to spend time with his family.

The target is £100,000; so far about £20,000 has been raised.

Just £1 from every police officer/civilian would go a long way to helping David spend time with his daughter.

Forward any donations, no matter how small to PC 2128 Matt Bishop  W shift, ‘B’ Division, Gloucester City, he will ensure the money is passed onto the officers dealing with the ‘Team Robinson’ fund.
