Mark Polin the Chief Constable of North Wales will be taking part in the 10 mile West Cumbrian Run on Sunday 18th July 2010.
This event is being held in memory of PC Bill Barker who was a strong supporter of the Great North Air Ambulance, the race will be held in his name to support the charity.
You will be aware that our colleagues in Cumbria have also had to deal with the awful events which took place last month, where again the Air Ambulance was in need.
A number of Officers are joining the Chief to form a North Wales Police team and assist him to raise money and show solidarity and support for our Cumbrian colleagues.
